What Should I Do If I Keep Getting Faulty Valve Notifications?

How does the auto valve scanning feature work in the Yardian sprinkler controller?

The Yardian sprinkler controller comes equipped with an auto valve scanning feature designed to detect faulty zones. The controller monitors the output current when the user starts an auto zone scanning or runs any zone. If a large output current is detected during these processes, it will display a message indicating that a “faulty zone is detected.” However, users have the ability to adjust the current threshold setting that determines when a large current output triggers the detection of a faulty valve.

What is the procedure for adjusting the current threshold setting?

To adjust the current threshold setting, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our support team at support@aeonmatrix.com to request the yardian_cmd.json command file.
  2. Prepare a USB drive.
  3. Once you receive the yardian_cmd.json file, copy it to the root directory of the USB drive.
  4. Insert the USB drive into the USB port of the Yardian controller.
  5. If the LED indicator on the Yardian controller turns purple, restart the controller by either pressing the reboot button or unplugging and replugging the power.

What should I do if the faulty valve issue persists after adjusting the current threshold setting?

If the faulty valve issue persists even after adjusting the current threshold setting, please contact our support team.
