Winterization and the Standby Mode
Yardian Features
Overview
There are two methods for winterizing your Yardian sprinkler controller. The first option is to simply unplug the Yardian controller, which will completely shut it down. The second option is to put the controller in Standby Mode, which will stop all watering activities while keeping the system powered on. Standby Mode is convenient if you prefer to keep the controller connected but want to ensure no watering occurs during the winter months.
Standby Mode
1. Go to the Device Settings:
2. Activate the Standby Mode:
3. Select the number of weeks and click OK to confirm:
Deactivate the Standby Mode
Click the blinking red dot to deactivate Standby Mode:
